In February, the prices of major industrial means of production in Inner Mongolia showed a stable and small amplitude dynamic trend. Among them, the price of steel and glass rose steadily, the price of non-ferrous metals and chemical products rose and fell, and the price of cement dropped slightly. It is expected that the steel price in Inner Mongolia will continue the upward trend in March.
The price of steel continued to rise in February. With the recovery of demand, the low price resources of winter storage were digested, and the price of construction steel continued to fluctuate. Among them, the comprehensive average price of construction steel and ordinary plate in the whole region was 4238.47 RMB and 4485.05 RMB per ton, respectively. Compared with January 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the month-on-month ratio), the prices of construction steel and ordinary plate increased by 3.40% and 1.52% respectively; Compared with February 2022 (hereinafter referred to as YoY), the price of construction steel and ordinary plate decreased by 13.13% and 15.15% respectively.
Among other steel varieties, round steel（ φ The average price of 16mm, HPB235) and stainless steel plate (1.2304/2B cold rolled) in the whole region this month was 4310.42 RMB and 18520.83 RMB per ton respectively; On a month-on-month basis, the prices of round steel and stainless steel plates rose 2.02% and 1.48% respectively; The price of round steel and stainless steel plate decreased by 14.61% and 2.29% respectively year on year.
