According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, as of February 17, the price of DOP was 9,920 RMB/ton, down 1.29% from the price of 10,050 RMB/ton on February 10. The price of DOP lacked power to rebound, and the price of DOP fell in shock this week.

The price of raw material 2-EH fell in shock

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, as of February 17, the price of 2-EH was 9,500 RMB/ton, down by 2.40% from the price of 2-EH at 9,733.33 RMB/ton on February 10. The demand was weak, the price of 2-EH fluctuated and fell this week, the cost of DOP raw materials fell, and the downward pressure on DOP prices increased.

The market of raw material PA recovered

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, as of February 17, the quotation of o-xylene method PA was 8,287.50 RMB/ton, up 0.61% from the price of 8,237.50 RMB/ton on February 10. The price-supporting of PA was strong this week, but the recovery of terminal demand was limited. The market of PA was stagnant this week, the price of PA was stable, and the rising power of DOP was weakened.

Market outlook

According to DOP data analysts of SunSirs, the price of 2-EH, the raw material, fell in shock, the price of PA stabilized, the cost of DOP fell, and the downward pressure on DOP increased. DOP costs fell and demand was weak. It is expected that the price of DOP will fluctuate and fall in the future.
