The average price of edible grade I corn starch at the beginning of the week was 3,166.00 RMB/ton, and the average price at the end of the week was 3,166.00 RMB/ton, which was stable on the whole, up 0.06% from the beginning of the month.
Analysis review
Affected by the continuous recovery of the corn market volume in the production area, the domestic corn market price in February continued to be weaker. Supported by the relatively low domestic corn starch inventory, the domestic corn starch market price did not follow the weaker adjustment of the corn price. In the first ten days of February, the price of domestic corn starch market rose first and then fell. This week, the price of domestic corn starch market remained stable.
Market outlook
According to the corn starch product analysts of the SunSirs, the corn cost of starch enterprises was still high, and the small fall in the corn market price in the production area had limited impact on the domestic corn starch market price.
