According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the price of flake caustic soda in January was weak, with the average market price of about 4,783.33 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month and 4,733.33 RMB/ton at the end of the month, down 1.05%, up 32.71% from the same period last year. By the end of January, the domestic flake caustic soda market had a consolidation market trend.
Upstream caustic soda
According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the domestic caustic soda price was consolidated. The average market price in Shandong was about 1,000-1,160 RMB/ton. The ex-factory price of 32% liquid caustic soda of the mainstream in Hebei was about 1,150-1,200 RMB/ton. The price of caustic soda was adjusted sporadically, because the downstream construction had not yet fully recovered after the Spring Festival, and there was still inventory pressure in some regions. Under the supply and demand game, it is comprehensively estimated that caustic soda will be mainly operated in consolidation.
Market outlook
