In December 2022, China's total imports of stainless steel were 236800 tons, a decrease of 54800 tons or 18.79% on a month-on-month basis; A year-on-year decrease of 33600 tons, or 12.42%.
From January to December 2022, China's total imports of stainless steel will be 3.285 million tons; The year-on-year increase was 357600 tons, with a year-on-year increase of 12.21%.
In December 2022, the total amount of stainless steel imported by China from Indonesia was 189800 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 42200 tons, or 18.19%, and a year-on-year decrease of 22900 tons, or 10.77%.
From January to December 2022, the cumulative volume of stainless steel imported by China from Indonesia was 2.7602 million tons, an increase of 524500 tons or 23.46% year on year.
In December 2022, China's total export of stainless steel was 390500 tons, a decrease of 10300 tons or 2.56% on a month-on-month basis; A year-on-year decrease of 52300 tons, or 11.82%.
From January to December 2022, China's total export of stainless steel was 4551300 tons, an increase of 90400 tons or 2.03% year on year.
In December 2022, China's net export of stainless steel was 153700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 44500 tons or 40.75%; A year-on-year decrease of 1.88 million tons, or 10.89%.
From January to December 2022, China's total net export of stainless steel was 1266200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 267200 tons, or 17.43%.
