According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of December 16, the average price quoted by the ECH enterprise was 9,100.00 RMB/ton, which was the same as the price on Monday and 0.74% higher than the price at the beginning of the month.
Analysis review
The market price of ECH was mainly stable this week. From the perspective of supply and demand: Recently, some manufacturers had no pressure on inventory, and their intention to ship at a low price was not strong. However, the downstream mainly consumed inventory. Inquiries and purchases into the market were just in demand, and the market atmosphere was general.
From the upstream and downstream, the price of raw propylene rose slightly this week, the raw glycerin was stable, and the cost of ECH had some support. The reference price of the downstream epoxy resin was 15,466.67 RMB/ton on December 15, up 0.86% compared with December 12 (15,333.33 RMB/ton), which supported the ECH market.
Market outlook
The ECH analysts of SunSirs believed that, as of the 16th, the cost support was still good, and the supply side was not under pressure, supporting the market's price mentality. However, the downstream follow-up was average. In addition, under the expectation of market supply increment, the ECH market was expected to stabilize and weaken in the short term, so more attention should be paid to the supply side.
