Price trend
According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the MDI market has been declining recently. The mainstream price for Shanghai goods (44V20, M20S, 5005) was 15,900-16,000 RMB/ton, while the mainstream price for domestic goods (PM200) was 16,500-16,600 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
As of April 3rd, MDI devices in China were operating at medium to high loads, with fast market supply filling and downstream entry at low prices, resulting in average demand. Pre holiday replenishment has been basically completed, with a shortage of new orders and a lack of positive news to boost the market.
Market outlook
It is expected that the MDI market will be weaker in the short term.
