Cumulative imports of liquid chlorine from January to October 2025 totaled 144.9 tons, down 15.7% year-on-year; cumulative exports during the same period reached 7.7 tons, down 73% year-on-year.
China's liquid chlorine imports primarily utilize the general trade method, mainly sourced from Japan and South Korea. From January to October, imports from Japan totaled 120.1 tons, conducted via general trade and bonded supervision areas for goods entering and leaving the country. Imports from South Korea amounted to 24.8 tons, conducted through processing trade and bonded supervision areas for goods entering and leaving the country.
