Upstream methanol: domestic methanol market was weak and consolidated. On the cost side, the production and sales of coal were normal in the coal producing areas, and the downstream power plants were mainly based on the fulfillment of long-term agreements. However, with the gradual warming of the temperature, the daily consumption of power plants had slowly declined. In the short term, the price of thermal coal may be narrow. The cost of methanol was temporarily negative.

Inner Mongolia Guotai, Ningxia and Yunnan each had one set of device for maintenance. Nanjing Chengzhi Plant reduced production. The recovery of Zhong'an United, Daqing Methanol Plant, Inner Mongolia Yuanxing, Xinjiang Zhongtai, Nanjing Chengzhi and Xinjiang Guanghui units. The overall recovery was more than the loss, and the capacity utilization rate increased. The methanol supply side was temporarily negative. The supply was relatively abundant, and the demand changes were limited. The methanol analyst of SunSirs predicted that the domestic methanol market was dominated by weak consolidation.
