According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, on January 13, the price of MTBE in Shandong was 6,380 RMB/ ton, an increase of 0.63% over the previous working day, a month on month increase of 9.06% and a year-on-year increase of 43.91%. The quotations of major production enterprises in Shandong rose and fell, and the overall price remained at about 6,250 RMB/ ton. MTBE market is driven by the rise of crude oil, and the price continues to rise, but the trading volume is general. Crude oil continues to rise, which is good for the market mentality. Coupled with cost support, the short-term domestic MTBE market in China is dominated by consolidation and transition.
