The average market price of domestic DDGS at the beginning of the month was 2490 yuan/ton, and the average price of domestic DDGS at the end of the month was 2556 yuan/ton, an increase of 2.68%.

Rigid demand supports domestic DDGS market heating up in August

Since August, the domestic DDGS market has gradually improved, due to the low inventory of the terminal feed factory, the purchase demand has increased. Coupled with the shutdown of some alcohol plants for maintenance and tight supply, the domestic DDGS market continues to rise. This week, the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are approaching. Feed mills start stocking before the holiday. The domestic DDGS market continues to rise. The market price is close to 2600 yuan/ton, an increase of more than 2%.

At the end of August, the domestic DDGS market continued to pull back after rising. The demand of terminal feed mills has declined, the price of raw corn has stabilized, and the boosting effect is limited. Some alcohol plants have started one after another. The confidence in the price is generally weak. The domestic DDGS market has gradually weakened and the price decline is limited. The mainstream quotation is 2500-2600 yuan/ton. The price dropped by RMB 20/ton. Due to the good price increase in the middle of the month, domestic DDGS showed an upward trend throughout August.

On August 27th, Heyang Alcohol DDGS price was 2600 yuan/ton, and the price was 100 yuan/ton higher than the beginning of the month; Weifang Ensign’s DDGS price was 2550 yuan/ton; the price was 50 yuan/ton higher than the beginning of the month; Dongfeng DDGS was 2520 yuan/ton Tons, the price has increased by RMB 90/ton from the beginning of the month.

In September, the demand for aquatic feed weakened, and the market outlook for domestic DDGS might be under pressure.
