Since October, various regions have successively issued policies to support the recovery of pig production capacity, which has been recovered to some extent. According to the latest data from the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas, in September, the number of live pigs in large-scale pig farms with an annual output of more than 5000 pigs increased by 0.6% on a month on month basis, and the number of fertile sows increased by 3.7% on a month on month basis. At present, the stock of sows that can be bred is still low. It takes 5-6 months for piglets to reach commercial pigs. The production capacity of pigs still needs to be restored.
