SunSirs: The Market Price of Cyclohexanone Fell

The market price of cyclohexanone fell this week, and the overall atmosphere in the market weakened. The purchase of downstream chemical fiber of cyclohexanone has slowed down, the confidence in the solvent market has weakened, and the purchasing atmosphere has also been flat. It is expected that the market price of cyclohexanone will weaken in the later period. According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of March 16, the average domestic market price of cyclohexanone was 10,033 RMB/ton, and the price increased by 42.56% month-on-month and 41.31% year-on-year.

In terms of raw materials, the price of domestic pure benzene recently firstly rose and then fell and then rose again. Sinopec’s price of pure benzene was raised by 300 RMB/ton to 6,750 RMB/ton, and all refineries under its subsidiaries implemented the price uniformly. The price was implemented from February 26. Sinopec’s high-end caprolactam quotation was lowered by 200 RMB/ton to 14,500 RMB/ton this week.

During the week, the caprolactam factory was not enthusiastic about purchasing new orders, and the price reduction mentality was obvious, and the price of cyclohexanone weakened.
