According to the monitoring of bulk commodity data, the price of 52 domestic chlorinated paraffins rose this week. The average price of chlorinated paraffin 52 last Thursday was 5,133.33 RMB/ton, and the average price this Thursday was 5,366.67 RMB/ton. The price rose by 4.55% within the week.

Analysis review

The price of 52 domestic chlorinated paraffins rose this week. The overall quotation of the paraffin wax market rose steadily. On the 25th, the ex-factory price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Anhui was about 5,300-5,500 RMB/ton. The price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Northeast China was relatively stable, and its ex-factory price was about 5,200 RMB/ton. The price of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Northwestern China rose too fast, and its ex-factory price was around 5,600 RMB/ton.

In terms of international crude oil, the U.S. EIA crude oil output in the week of February 19 was 14.1154 million barrels, the previous value was 17.7347 million barrels. US crude oil inventories in Cushing, Oklahoma, during the week of February 19, increased by 2.807 million barrels, was down 3.028 million barrels from the previous value. US EIA crude oil inventories increased by 1.285 million barrels in the week of February 19, and the previous value decreased by 7.258 million barrels, which is expected to decrease by 5.190 million barrels.

In terms of liquid wax, the price of liquid wax was relatively stable this week, and the overall trading atmosphere was good. In terms of liquid chlorine, most markets continued to rise. The mainstream price of liquid chlorine in Jiangsu and Anhui rose to 1,100-1,300 RMB/ton, the price of liquid chlorine in individual enterprises was as low as 900 RMB/ton, and the price of liquid chlorine in Shandong rose to 1,100-1,200 RMB/ton.

In terms of demand, downstream enterprises basically started construction, demand increased, and overall trading was good.

Market outlook

The chlorinated paraffin analysts of SunSirs believe that the overall market trading atmosphere for chlorinated paraffins this week was better, and downstream orders continued to increase. The raw material liquid chlorine rose and the raw material support was strong. It is expected that the price of chlorinated paraffin will be firm in the short term.
