As of March 17, PET water bottle manufacturers offered 5800.00 RMB/ton. Polyester market trend is relatively weak, and the cost support is general. Polyester industry chain market may be vulnerable to shock.
Product: The market of raw materials fluctuates violently, and the atmosphere of watching polyester bottle sheet market is strong. With the easing of public events, the delivery speed of manufacturers increases, which has a certain easing effect on inventory. The downstream purchase is on demand, and the new orders are limited.
Industrial Chain: The processing interval of the upstream PTA has been enlarged to some extent. However, with the planned shutdown and maintenance of the two plants recently, the starting of PTA has been significantly reduced by 9 basis points. However, the inventory status of PTA in the early stage cannot be immediately alleviated.
Industry: On March 16, the PET commodity index was 43.61, down 0.75 points from the previous day, setting a record low in the cycle and down 57.97% from the peak of 103.76 on September 22, 2011 (Note: Period refers to 2011-Septmber-01 till now).
