SunSirs: After the Festival, the Market of Hydrogen Peroxide Declined

On February 4, the hydrogen peroxide commodity index was 119.57, unchanged from the previous day, down 44.89% from 216.98 (2017-12-24), the highest point in the cycle, and up 66.67% from 71.74, the lowest point on August 3, 2016. (Note: cycle refers to 2011-09-01 to now)

According to the monitoring of SunSirs: after the Spring Festival, the price of hydrogen peroxide is generally weak and downward. Before the festival, the average ex factory price of hydrogen peroxide was 1,116 RMB/ton. On February 5, the average ex factory price of hydrogen peroxide was 1,100 RMB/ton, down 1.49%.

Market Analysis

After the festival, affected by the epidemic situation, the logistics and transportation were blocked. Except for the quotation of some hydrogen peroxide manufacturers, most hydrogen peroxide manufacturers did not offer external quotation temporarily, and the price of hydrogen peroxide quoted by the manufacturers remained stable and mainly decreased.

As of February 5, the quotation of hydrogen peroxide in each region is as follows:

Shandong Province: the price of 27.5% hydrogen peroxide of Luxi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.  is 1,000 RMB/ton; the price is 50 RMB/ton lower than before the festival. Hebei Province: the ex factory price of 27.5% hydrogen peroxide of Zhengyuan fertilizer industry fell to 1000 RMB/ton, which was the same as before the festival. Anhui area: Anhui Quansheng and Jinhe will not offer to the outside temporarily. Hunan area: Hunan Shuangyang will not offer to the outside temporarily. Zhejiang area: Hangzhou Mingxin will not offer to the outside temporarily.

Market outlook

Hydrogen peroxide analysts believe that: if after the Lantern Festival, logistics and transportation continue to recover, terminal enterprises continue to start, hydrogen peroxide market may be improved.
