SunSirs: China Iron and Steel Association: October 2022 Iron and Steel Products Import and Export Monthly Report
November 30 2022 10:28:57In October, my country imported 772,000 tons of steel, a decrease of 119,000 tons month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 355,000 tons, the lowest level in a single month since the data was available in 2003: the average import unit price was US$1,709.1/ton, an increase of 8.4% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 17.2% . From January to October, imported steel was 9.115 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 23.0%; the average import unit price was US$1,599.7 per ton, a year-on-year increase of 24.8%; imported steel billets were 5.093 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 43.6%.
