According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average market price of domestic liquid CPL was 12,366 RMB/ton on November 18, and 12,200 RMB/ton on November 25. CPL prices fell 1.35% this week.
Analysis review
CPL market prices fell this week. The price of pure benzene as CPL raw material fell this week, and the cost support weakened. The devices of some CPL manufacturers were restart, and the on-site supply increased. Downstream demand was low, the transaction was weak, and the CPL market was weak. As of November 25, the price of Sinopec's high-end CPL was 12,800 RMB/ton, the unit was started normally. The price of CPL liquid of Shandong Hualu Hengsheng was 12,000 RMB/ton, which was delivered to East China. The manufacturer's unit capacity is 300,000 tons/year.
Raw material pure benzene rose first and then fell this week. The pure benzene market had a strong negative atmosphere, and the price continued to weaken. As of November 25, the price of domestic pure benzene was 6,700-6,950 RMB/ton.
Market outlook
CPL analysts from SunSirs believe that the market of raw material pure benzene weakened recently, and the cost side support was insufficient. The on-site supply of CPL increased and the demand side decreased. It is expected that the price trend of CPL will decline mainly in the short term.
