According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average production price of paraformaldehyde in Shandong on September 14 was 5,450 RMB/ton, and the average production price of paraformaldehyde in Shandong on September 5 was 5,350 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.87%.
Analysis review
Linyi Shengyang Chemical has an annual output of 9,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. On September 14, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) including tax was 5,500 RMB/ton, which was 100 RMB/ton higher than the previous price. Boosted by the rise in methanol, the trading of paraformaldehyde was general. Zibo Qixing Chemical has an annual output of 10,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, and the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) including tax was 5,500 RMB/ton, which was 200 RMB/ton higher than last week, boosted by the rise in methanol prices. Shandong Formaldehyde Industry Chemical has an annual output of 30,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, and the price of 96 paraformaldehyde was 5,350 RMB/ton. The price was unchanged from last week, and the paraformaldehyde market was acceptable. Gansu Taier Fine Chemicals has an annual output of 20,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, and the price of 96 paraformaldehyde was 4,400 RMB/ton, which was unchanged from the increase.
According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, domestic methanol rose by more than 6.47% during the period of 9.1-9.14.
Market outlook
Supported by the cost of methanol, the paraformaldehyde analyst of SunSirs expects the price of paraformaldehyde may rise.
