According to the data monitored by SunSirs, the domestic carbon black price was 10,100 RMB/ton on June 23.
Analysis review
On the cost side, the domestic high-temperature coal tar stopped falling recently, and the start-up load was low.
On the demand side, the domestic carbon black market demand continued to be sluggish. The overall start-up of tire enterprises remained low, and the performance was still not improved. The starting load of all-steel was around 55%, and that of semi-steel was around 65%. Under the condition that the domestic demand market continued to be weak and the export orders were limited, the inventory of tire companies was high. Under the operating mentality of buying up and not buying down, downstream users were generally cautious in purchasing.
Market outlook
On the whole, the current domestic carbon black cost has fallen, and under the circumstance that the carbon black market demand is sluggish and the inventory increases, the new order price of the carbon black market has been continuously lowered.
