The price of domestic ferrosilicon (brand: FeSi75～B; particle size/mm: natural block) in the main plant area of Ningxia is around 8,100-8,200 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
The ferrosilicon market continues to operate stably.
In July, the purchase price of 75B ferrosilicon of HBIS Group is 8,700 RMB/ton, which is an increase of 200 RMB/ton from the June price and 100 RMB/ton from the inquiry price. The purchase volume is 2,060 tons, which is a decrease of 1,506 tons from June. From the perspective of bidding volume, demand is significantly reduced during the off-season. With the current increase in cost prices, the start of some factories in the main production areas has been affected, and the inventories of manufacturers in the main production areas are relatively small.
Market outlook
Under the interweaving of various factors, the ferrosilicon market is expected to consolidate in the short term.
