Recently, rapeseed meal has risen first and then fallen. On the 15th and 16th, rapeseed meal futures continued to rise. On the 15th, rapeseed meal futures rose by 2.78%, and on the 16th, futures rose by 2.39%, with spot prices following suit. Recently, the operating rate of oil plants continued to decline, with limited output of rapeseed meal and low inventory of rapeseed meal, supporting the rapeseed meal market. In addition, as the weather warms up, aquaculture gradually enters the peak season, and feed factories are actively picking up goods, resulting in a significant increase in demand for rapeseed meal. Starting from the 17th, rapeseed meal futures and spot prices began to weaken. On the 16th, the ICE Canadian rapeseed futures market continued to decline, reaching its lowest level in more than a month. The external market suppressed the domestic rapeseed meal market, while the soybean meal market trend was weak, with bearish pressures, hindering the rise of rapeseed meal prices and causing them to decline.

In terms of soybean meal: According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average market price of soybean meal on April 1st was 3,488 RMB/ton, and on April 18th, the average market price of soybean meal was 3,334 RMB/ton, with a decrease of 4.42% during the period. In April, the overall fluctuation of soybean meal was mainly weak and declined, while the market for rapeseed meal was dragged down.

With the gradual arrival of imported rapeseed at the port, the operating rate of oil factories has rebounded, and the output of rapeseed meal has increased; Entering the peak season of demand for aquaculture in April, there is limited room for the decline of rapeseed meal. With the boost of demand, it is expected that rapeseed meal will fluctuate strongly, and the market will pay more attention to changes in the soybean meal market.
