According to monitoring data from SunSirs, after a slight decline in the domestic chloroacetic acid market at the end of February, the market trend remained stable, and the overall negotiation atmosphere was relatively light. As of March 18th, the average price of chloroacetic acid in China was 3,137 RMB/ton, a decrease of 4.2% from the price of 3,275 RMB/ton in mid February.
In terms of supply and demand:

In addition, the resumption of upstream and downstream operations had led to an increase in replenishment in the market. The market trading atmosphere was good, and the quotation of acetic acid manufacturers had been raised.
Market outlook
The raw material liquid chlorine and glacial acetic acid markets had both risen, supporting the cost of chloroacetic acid. Some production enterprises still had accumulated inventory. The market supply is abundant in the short term, and it is expected that the chloroacetic acid market will consolidate in the near future.
