SunSirs: The Vitamin Market Was Operating to Be Stronger in February

March 04 2024 11:33:32     SunSIrs (John)

Price trend

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the domestic vitamin market maintained a stronger trend in February, but the momentum was insufficient, and the driving force for further growth was limited.

Analysis review

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the price of vitamin C increased in February, with a price of 21 RMB/kg at the beginning of the month and 21.67 RMB/kg on the 29th, with a monthly increase of 3.19%. The vitamin C market was supported by the export market, with upstream prices rising while downstream acceptance was still acceptable, with significant resistance to further increases.

The price of vitamin A continued to rise in February, with an average price of 77 RMB/kg at the beginning of the month and 81 RMB/kg at the end of the month, with a monthly increase of 5.04%. The mainstream market quotation was around 82-85 RMB/kg, and the European market quotation was 19-20.5 euros/kg. The price of vitamin A in Europe had stabilized after rising, with all the positive news coming out. On exchange inquiries were active, with relatively few transactions, and downstream acceptance was still acceptable. In terms of production, some factories had parked, resulting in a favorable supply side.

In February, the price of vitamin E increased, with the mainstream market price around 65-68 RMB/kg. The European market quotation was 6.8-7.2 euros per kilogram. Recently, there had been many maintenance plans in China, with a favorable supply side and a strong willingness to raise prices of upstream, which had provided some support for price increases.

Market outlook

SunSirs’ Vitamin Analyst believes that the vitamin market was full of positive news, with insufficient upward momentum and a lack of effective positive support in the market. In the future, it should  pay close attentions to the market trends and changes in enterprise production.
