SunSirs: The Market Price of Cyclohexane Was Stronger in a Narrow Range (February 16-23)

According to data monitored by SunSirs, as of February 23, the average price of industrial grade premium cyclohexane in China was 7,050 RMB/ton, which was the main price increase compared to the same period last week. This week, the price had increased by 1.2%. As of February 23, the overall market supply and demand were balanced, with manufacturers mainly offering discounts for sales.

Analysis review

This week, the market price of cyclohexane had been operating in a narrow upward trend, with the mainstream price around 7,000 RMB/ton, a slight increase of 1.2% compared to the same period last week. The mainstream manufacturer's quotation range was maintained at around 7,000 RMB/ton, and downstream replenishment was mainly based on demand. Terminal demand was lower than expected, and upstream support was lacking. Latest quotations from enterprises: Qingdao Chengxin Hongfeng Chemical Co., Ltd. offered a price of 6,100 RMB/ton, Jiangsu Runfeng Synthetic Technology Co., Ltd. offered a price of 7,400 RMB/ton, Zhongyin New Materials (Shandong) Co., Ltd. offered a price of 6,900 RMB/ton, and Jiangsu Renen Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. offered a price of 7,200 RMB/ton.

Chemical index: On February 22, the chemical index was 876 points, a decrease of 1 point from the previous day, a decrease of 37.43% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,400 points (2021-10-23), and an increase of 46.49% from the lowest point of 598 points on April 8, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present).

Market outlook
