SunSirs: The Vitamin Market Had been Running Smoothly This Week (February 18-23)

February 26 2024 15:28:44     SunSirs (John)

Price trend

According to monitoring data from SunSirs, the vitamin market operated steadily after the Spring Festival, and compared to before the holiday, the market was relatively weak, and downstream recovery was slower.

Analysis review

According to price monitoring by SunSirs, the vitamin C market had been operating steadily this week, with mainstream quotes for feed grade vitamin C ranging from 24 to 26 RMB/kg. A year ago, supported by the improvement of the export market, there was a wave of upward trend. After the holiday, downstream areas gradually recovered, mainly based on demand.

This week, the price of vitamin A was temporarily stable, with the mainstream price of feed grade vitamin A in the market being 82-55 RMB/kg, and the European market quoting 19-20.5 euros/kg. The trading volume of vitamin A in the market was stable, with large factories continuing to suspend quoting, traders holding up prices, and average demand.

This week, the price of vitamin E remained stable at a low level, and the current mainstream price in the VE market was between 65-67 RMB/ton. The European market quotation was 6.8-7.2 euros per kilogram. Mainstream factories had suspended quotations, and manufacturers have few quotations. Traders' quotations are based on the market and negotiation is the main approach.

Market outlook

Vitamin analysts from SunSirs believe that as of February 23rd, some vitamin markets have been volatile and weaker, with relatively few actual transactions and a lack of positive signals to boost. In the future, it's needed to pay closely attentions to the production, sales, and market trends of enterprises.
