According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the reference average price of domestic CPL on January 1st was 13,843 RMB/ton, and on January 31st, the reference average price of domestic CPL was 13,735 RMB/ton. This month, the market price of domestic CPL fell by 0.78%.
Analysis review
The domestic CPL market had been fluctuating this month. The price of raw material pure benzene had increased this month, leading to increased cost support. The parking device for CPL was gradually opening up, and the market supply was gradually increasing. Downstream was on-demand procurement, with a market wait-and-see mentality as the main focus. Driven by the cost at the end of the month, CPL slightly increased. As of January 31st, the settlement price of Sinopec's CPL was 14,100 RMB/ton, which was a high-quality liquid product.
Raw material pure benzene market. The price of pure benzene had increased slightly this month. As of January 31st, the reference price for domestic pure benzene was around 7,967 RMB/ton.
Downstream PA6 market. The PA6 market had risen this month. The load of domestic polymerization plants remained basically unchanged, and the inventory position remained low. The demand for terminal operations was increasing, and pre holiday stocking was increasing. It is expected that the PA6 market will be mainly strong in the short term. As of January 31st, the reference price for domestic PA6 was 14,775 RMB/ton.
Market outlook
According to CPL analysts from SunSirs, the price of raw material pure benzene had continued to strengthen recently, with increased cost support. Terminal demand was stable, with procurement being on demand. It is expected that the short-term market price of CPL will remain stable with an upward trend.
