SunSirs: China Domestic Rapeseed Market Decreased Last Week (January 15-19)

According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average market price of domestic rapeseed on January 15th was 6,200 RMB/ton, and on January 19th, the average market price of domestic rapeseed was 6,100 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.61%. Last week, domestic rapeseed prices fell, and domestic rapeseed sales were not good. However, the trading atmosphere in the imported rapeseed market is still favorable, which has put pressure on the prices of domestic rapeseed and led to a reduction in domestic rapeseed prices. Downstream demand for domestically produced rapeseed is weak, supported by a gradual decrease in supply. It is expected that the decline in domestic rapeseed will be limited.

Vancouver, January 18th news: On Thursday, Canadian rapeseed futures on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) closed slightly higher, with the benchmark period closing up approximately 0.81%. As of the close, rapeseed futures rose between 2.7 Canadian dollars/ton and 5.1 Canadian dollars/ton, with the March futures closing up approximately 5.1 Canadian dollars/ton at 631.8 Canadian dollars/ton; The May period closed up approximately 5.1 Canadian dollars and reported a price of 638.6 Canadian dollars/ton; The July period closed approximately 4.3 Canadian dollars higher at 643.2 Canadian dollars/ton.
