On January 12th, the propylene market in Shandong slightly increased, with mainstream prices in the Shandong market ranging from 6,650 to 6,730 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
Recently, the propylene market had seen a slight increase, with upstream inventories remaining low and actively pushing up. Downstream demand had entered the market, but due to the weak impact of the polypropylene market, the resistance to propylene pushing up had increased.
Market outlook
The market inventory was under pressure, and the upstream had a strong willingness to push up prices. It is expected that the market will continue to rise slightly in the short term.
