Due to the stabilizing trend of raw material prices and the strong wait-and-see attitude of downstream trading entities, the overall quoted prices of domestic sodium metabisulfite enterprises had remained stable this week, with a market price range of 2,450-2,600 RMB/ton for industrial grade sodium metabisulfite. The product inventory was about 30%, and the company mainly completed orders from old customers.
This week, domestic soda ash prices slightly increased, rising 0.72% within the week, while sulfur prices slightly increased, rising 3.46% within the week. The upward trend of upstream product prices slowed down during the week, and the overall fluctuation of raw material costs stabilized.
