In October, PMMA prices fluctuated, with ups and downs. Currently, the price remains around 14,600 RMB/ton, with downstream procurement being the main focus. The overall market supply and demand are balanced, and the overall negotiation atmosphere is flat.
In October, the price of PMMA, a commonly used transparent premium product in China, remained stable compared to the same period last month. The market negotiation atmosphere was average, and downstream demand was insufficient. Procurement was mainly based on demand, and the willingness to stock up was not strong. Currently, the quotation range of mainstream manufacturers is still around 14,600 RMB/ton. The current operating rate is stable, and the overall market supply and demand is balanced. Rubber and Plastic Index: On October 29, the rubber and plastic index stood at 678 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 36.04% from the cycle's highest point of 1,060 points (2012-03-14), and an increase of 28.41% from the lowest point of 528 points on April 6, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present).
