According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, TDI prices in East China rose first and then fell this week. On September 22, the average market price in East China was 18,066.67 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.18% compared to the price of 18,033.33 RMB/ton on September 18, and a decrease of 2.34% compared to the beginning of the month.
Analysis review
The domestic TDI market was fluctuating and organizing, with slight fluctuations in price trends. Most factories in China had tight resource performance, limited market entry, and manufacturers were mainly supporting prices. The trade market followed suit, with more waiting for factory news to be guided. At the beginning of the week, Shanghai's large factories implemented price increases, and the prices of cargo holders followed suit. Domestic downstream demand was average, and there was resistance towards high priced toluene. The market trading atmosphere was weak, and the price of toluene had narrowed.
