The average weekly price of industrial grade sodium metabisulfite was 2,683.33 RMB/ton, and the average weekend price was 2,683.33 RMB/ton, indicating overall stability.
Analysis review
This week, the overall price of domestic soda ash remained stable, and sulfur prices slightly decreased, and raw material costs slightly fluctuated. The overall quotation of sodium metabisulfite manufacturers remained stable, and the domestic industrial grade sodium metabisulfite market price range for this week was 2,600-2,800 RMB/ton. The inventory of the enterprise was about 30%, mainly to complete old customer’s orders.
As of September 22, the price of domestic soda ash had increased by 5.46% during the month, while the price of sulfur had decreased by 3.55% during the month. The cost of raw materials had stabilized in shock, and the market price of sodium metabisulfite in the future lacked momentum to continue to rise.
Market outlook
