The price of titanium concentrate in the Panxi region continued to rise in August. As of August 29th, the tax-free quotation for grade 38-42 titanium ore was around 1,580-1,600 RMB/ton, the tax-free quotation for grade 46-10 titanium concentrate was around 2,250 RMB/ton, and the quotation for grade 47-20 titanium concentrate was around 2,300-2,460 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
As of August 29th, there was not much inventory on the market, and the spot supply in the market continued to be tight. Downstream titanium dioxide enterprises had active trading activities, the trading performance in the titanium concentrate market was good and quotations were strong.
Market outlook
In the short term, the market price of titanium concentrate is mainly firm and strong, and the actual transaction price is negotiable.
