According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the price of activated charcoal at the beginning of this month was 11,800 RMB/ton, and at the end of the month, the price of activated charcoal was 11,666 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.13%.

Analysis review

Domestic activated charcoal manufacturers had weak quotations, with the factory price of coconut shell activated charcoal for water purification in East China ranging from 9,500 to 12,500 RMB/ton. The market demand was average, and industry insiders had a strong wait-and-see atmosphere. The transactions were mainly based on orders, and it was difficult to increase the volume of transactions. The focus was on the market transaction situation.

Activated charcoal has a rich source of raw materials, including coal, sawdust, fruit shells, straw, etc. Through a series of processes, activated charcoal suitable for water treatment is prepared. At the same time, activated charcoal manufacturers are constantly improving the performance of activated charcoal, increasing its working capacity, and effectively adsorbing and purifying wastewater.

Market outlook

The transaction in the activated charcoal market is weak, and it is expected that the price of activated charcoal will mainly fluctuate in a narrow range in the short term.
