According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average ex factory price of LDPE (2426H) on July 3 was 8,637 RMB/ton, and the average price on July 7 was 8,687 RMB/ton, with an increase of 0.58% during the period.
According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average ex factory price of HDPE (5000S) was 9,112 RMB/ton on July 3rd, and the average price on July 7th was 9,137 RMB/ton. During this period, the quotation increased by 0.27%.
Last week, the price of polyethylene mainly increased. In terms of cost, the rise in international oil prices has supported the rise in polyethylene prices. In terms of supply, there are many parking, maintenance, and decoration projects, and some varieties have a short-term supply shortage. Production enterprises and traders have raised their prices. In terms of futures, polyethylene futures have experienced strong volatility, boosting the spot market.
It is expected that there will still be room for crude oil to rise this week, and demand will gradually improve in the second half of the year. It is expected that polyethylene may fluctuate more strongly.
