On July 4th, the commodity price index (BPI) stood at 906 points, unchanged from the previous day, a decrease of 32.54% from the cycle's highest point of 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 37.27% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on July 4, 2023, there were a total of 49 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector (12 types in total) and the rubber and plastic sector (10 types in total), with commodities with an increase of more than 5% mainly concentrated in the agricultural and sideline sectors; The top three commodities with the highest increase were DDGS (5.97%), butadiene (5.14%), and sulfur (2.34%). A total of 61 commodities declined month on month, mainly in chemical industry (27 in total) and nonferrous metals (15 in total). The top three commodities declined were chloroform (-3.85%), Dysprosium(III) oxide (-3.72%) and neodymium oxide (-3.14%). The average daily increase or decrease is -0.08%.
