The latest data from the General Administration of Customs shows that from January to May 2023, China exported 2.315 million tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, a year-on-year decrease of 20.2%. Among them, in May 2023, China exported 475300 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, a year-on-year decrease of 29.7%;
From January to May 2023, China's cumulative export of alumina reached 490000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 29.5%; Among them, in May, China's alumina exports reached 110000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 41.6%.
From January to May 2023, China imported 989200 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%; Among them, China imported 191700 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in May, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%
From January to May 2023, China imported 60.54 million tons of aluminum ore sand and concentrate, a year-on-year increase of 8.5%; Among them, China imported 12.93 million tons of aluminum ore sand and concentrate in May, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%.
