According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average factory price of ammonium sulfate in China on May 29th was 784 RMB/ton. On June 5th, the average factory price of ammonium sulfate in China was 746 RMB/ton. This week, the price of ammonium sulfate was decreased by 5.08%.

Analysis review

The market price of ammonium sulfate fell this week. The domestic market for ammonium sulfate was weak and was sorted out, export orders were limited and there was no improvement in the market. The downstream composite fertilizer market was generally weak, the procurement was mainly on-demand. This week, urea prices rebounded, which was laterally positive for the ammonium sulfate market. As of June 5th, the mainstream factory quotation for coking grade ammonium sulfate in Shandong is around 630-690 RMB/ton. The mainstream factory quotation for domestic CPL grade ammonium sulfate in Shandong was around 730-780 RMB/ton.

This week, the downstream compound fertilizer market was volatile and sorted out, with slight fluctuations in the market. The trend of compound fertilizer raw material ammonium phosphate was not good, and the raw material urea stopped falling to rebound and rose, with acceptable cost support. Downstream replenishment was based on demand, corn fertilizer orders were mainly shipped, and new orders were mostly negotiated on a single basis.

Market outlook

According to ammonium sulfate analysts from SunSirs, the domestic ammonium sulfate market underwent a slight adjustment in recent days, and domestic and international demand remained weak. Downstream restocking as needed, with a small amount of new orders traded in the market.
