Analysis review
This week, the general transparent grade premium product PMMA in China was operating smoothly. Compared to the same period last week, the price remained stable. The procurement atmosphere was cold and the downstream demand was insufficient. As of the 19th, the quotation range of mainstream manufacturers remained around 14,800 RMB/ton. The operating rate was stable, the overall market supply and demand was balanced, and manufacturers were willing to make profit-cutting for sales. Downstream procurement was just in needed Enterprise quotation: Shanghai Hongqi Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. 14,500 RMB/ton.
Rubber and Plastic Index: On May 18th, the rubber and plastic index stood at 661 points, a decrease of 1 point from previous day, a decrease of 37.64% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,060 points (2012-03-14), and an increase of 25.19% from the lowest point of 528 points on April 6, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present).
