In the first half of May, the price of chloroform fell sharply. SunSirs data shows that as of May 15, the price of chloroform bulk water in Shandong was 2,075 RMB/ton, a sharp drop of 11.70% from 2,350 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month. The price of raw material methanol fell, and the cost of chloroform fell slightly; the peak season of downstream refrigerants came to an end, and the demand for R22 was weak, which gave weak support to chloroform; the start of methane chloride fluctuated slightly, and the pressure on the supply of chloroform continued; Methane prices fell weakly.
