This week, PMMA prices remained stable and maintained the previous trend, with no significant price fluctuations. Downstream procurement was mainly based on demand.
Analysis review
This week, the domestic general transparent grade excellent PMMA was running smoothly, and the price was flat compared to the same period last week. The procurement atmosphere was cold and the downstream demand was insufficient. As of the 12th, the quotation range of mainstream manufacturers remained around 14,800 RMB/ton. The operating rate was stable, the overall market supply and demand was balanced, and manufacturers were willing to make profit-cuttings for sales. Downstream procurement was just in needed. Enterprise quotation: Shanghai Hongqi Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. 14,500 RMB/ton.
Rubber and Plastic Index: On May 11, the rubber and plastic index was 672 points, a decrease of 1 point from the previous day, a decrease of 36.60% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,060 points (2012-03-14), and an increase of 27.27% from the lowest point of 528 points on April 6, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present).
