According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs domestic corn prices slightly rebounded this week. At the beginning of the week, the average price of third class yellow corn was 2,747.14 RMB/ton, and the average price over the weekend was 2,758.57 RMB/ton, with a weekly increase of 0.42%.
Analysis review
In the middle of April, affected by the recovery of domestic wheat prices, and supported by the gradual shortage of high-quality corn surplus in North China and other places, deep processing enterprises raised prices slightly and replenished stocks to ensure the arrival of goods, driving the price of domestic corn market to rise slightly. The trade entities in the northeast production areas were reluctant to sell, and the domestic corn market price rebounded slightly as a whole.
This week, domestic egg prices were stronger, rising by 2.98% during the week, while pig prices continued to be weak, falling by 1.47% during the week.
Market outlook
The market for live pig farming continued to decline, the domestic pig to grain ratio continued to decline, the loss area of live pig farming continued to increase, and the intention of farmers to sell and realize remains unchanged. In the future, the stock of live pigs will gradually decline, and the demand for corn breeding and feeding will decrease.
