The domestic economy is recovering steadily, consumption continues to pick up, domestic downstream textile and clothing consumption is expected to increase, and the progress of cotton sales has accelerated significantly. According to the data of the National Cotton Market Monitoring System, as of April 6, the national new cotton sales rate was 74.8%, an increase of 2.6 percentage points year-on-year. Considering that the cotton supply is generally sufficient, but the consumption in the international market is weak, the cotton price will temporarily remain unchanged from the forecast value of last month.
