On February 10 and 17, the average market price of cyclohexanone in China fell from 9,600 RMB/ton to 9,466 RMB/ton, with a decrease of 1.39% in the week. The price fell 0.77% month-on-month and fell 22.62% year-on-year. The raw material pure benzene operated in shock, and the cost support was relatively stable. Downstream CPL was in weak operation, chemical fiber followed up just in needed, traders' shipments were not smooth, and the transaction focus of cyclohexanone market was weaker.

Analysis review

On the cost side, the domestic market price of pure benzene fluctuated, and the spot transaction was 6,910-7,010 RMB/ton; The market price in Shandong was 6,700-6,800 RMB/ton. Holders were bullish on the aftermarket and are reluctant to sell. The cost of cyclohexanone may have positive support in the short term.

In terms of supply, the market is relatively abundant. Major production enterprises, such as Shijiazhuang Coking, Shandong Hongda, Jining Zhongyin, Shandong Haili, etc., were overhauled or shut down. Some production enterprises, such as Cangzhou Xuri, Shandong Fangming, Luxi Chemical, etc., mainly supplied itself to produce CPL, and the supply of cyclohexanone would not be sold. While Hualu Hengsheng, Inner Mongolia Qinghua and other enterprises operated normally, but the unit load was maintained at about 60%. In the short term, it is difficult to find favorable factors in the supply of cyclohexanone.

On the demand side, the market of CPL, the main downstream product of cyclohexanone, fell. The price of PA6 chips on the demand side continued to fall. The supply of CPL was relatively loose and the price continued to loosen.. The demand side of cyclohexanone also had no positive support.

Market outlook
