Analysis review
The operating rate of the spandex industry had increased to more than 80%, the cost support was maintained, and the downstream enterprises had increased their operating rate, which continuously boosted the price of spandex.
Recently, the price of PTMEG in the spandex field had continued to support the price, and the overall market supply was limited, with the negotiated price of 20,000-22,000 RMB/ton. The reference price of the pure MDI market was 19,000-19,500 RMB/ton, self-delivery, in barrels and by telegraphic transfer, and most of the mainstream traders maintained stable price to ship.
The business atmosphere of downstream customers and dealers rebounded, and the operating rate of terminal textiles in many fields slowly increased, with the operating rate of round machine field of 30-40%, and the operating rate of warp knitting field of 50%. The demand trend began to increase.
Market outlook
Analysts from Business Agency believe that the cost of spandex and demand both supported the price of spandex, and it is expected that the price of spandex will remain stronger in the future.
