SunSirs: The Price of CPL Rose Due to the Increase of Raw Materials (January 2-6)

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average price of domestic liquid CPL market on January 2 was 11,066 RMB/ton, and the average price of domestic liquid CPL market on January 6 was 11,233 RMB/ton. The domestic CPL price rose 1.51% this week.

Analysis review

CPL market prices rose this week. The price of raw material pure benzene rose, and the cost support of CPL was good. The operating rate of the supply side increased this week. The downstream domestic PA6 polymerization plants had stable demand for CPL and purchased it on demand. As of January 6, Sinopec's high-end liquid premium CPL was quoted at 11,950 RMB/ton. The price of CPL liquid of Shandong Hualu Hengsheng was 12,100 RMB/ton, which was delivered to East China. The manufacturer's capacity is 300,000 tons/year.

The price of raw material pure benzene rose this week. The refinery in Shandong had a low inventory and the manufacturer's quotation was firm. As of January 6, the reference average price of Shandong pure benzene market was 6,932 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

CPL analysts from SunSirs believe that the market of pure benzene as the raw material rose recently, and CPL was on the rise. On site supply increased and downstream demand iwas stable. It is expected that the short-term CPL market will mainly tend to by stronger.
