The price of OX stabilized after the festival

It can be seen from the trend chart of OX price of SunSirs that as of January 6, the price of OX was 7,800 RMB/ton, which was stable compared with the price of OX on January 1. The industrial chain of OX was shaken and consolidated, the demand for OX cost to stop falling was weak, and the domestic OX market was temporarily stable.

Raw material mixed xylene market stopped falling and rose after the festival

It can be seen from the mixed xylene price trend chart of SunSirs that the mixed xylene price stopped falling and rose after the festival. As of January 6, the price of mixed xylene was 6,790 RMB/ton, up 1.19% from the price of 6,710 RMB/ton on January 1. Crude oil prices fluctuated and consolidated, naphtha rose sharply, mixed xylene cost rose, mixed xylene price fell first and then rose, OX's downward pressure weakened, and the upward momentum increased.

The price of PA in the downstream fell slightly after the festival

It can be seen from the trend chart of PA price of SunSirs that the price of PA fell slightly after the festival. As of January 6, the quotation of PA by OX method was 8,050 RMB/ton, down 0.16% from the price of 8,062.50 RMB/ton on January 1. Downstream demand was weak. After the festival, the price of PA produced by OX method dropped slightly, and the downward pressure of OX decline was great.

Market outlook

The analysts of the OX data of SunSirs believe that, on the cost side, the price of mixed xylene stopped falling and rose, and the cost of OX rose, so the driving force for OX to rise increased; On the demand side, PA declined slightly, while the demand for OX remained weak. To sum up, the cost of OX rose, the demand was weak, the downward pressure on OX weakened, and the upward momentum increased. It is expected that the price of OX will stabilize strongly in the future.
