According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the stainless steel fell slightly this week. As of December 16, the daily average price of spot 304/2B stainless steel plates 1.0 * 1219 * 2438 (tolerance 0.91) was 15,752.86 RMB/tonn, down 1.12% from the price of 15,921.43 RMB/tonn at the beginning of the week, and up 1.25% year on year.
According to the price difference analysis tool of SunSirs, the recent price trend of nickel and stainless steel was basically the same.
Analysis review
This week's stainless steel inventory totaled 825,300 tons, up 3.5% from last week, among them, cold rolling warehouse and hot rolling stock both rose.
To sum up, as the end of the year is approaching, some stainless steel prices have risen due to the positive impact of the downstream stainless steel enterprises' pre holiday stock preparation and the stimulus of favorable macro policies. However, the nickel price at the raw material end fell slightly this week, and the stainless steel price subsequently fell back.
Market outlook
It is expected that the stainless steel will mainly operate to be weaker in shock in the short term.
