SunSirs: Thailand's Natural Rubber Production in the First Three Quarters of 2022 will Increase by 7.4% Year-on-year

The latest data shows that Thailand's natural rubber production in the first three quarters of 2022 will reach 3.87 million tons, an increase of 7.4% from 3.61 million tons in the same period last year. In terms of specific varieties, the output of smoked sheet rubber increased by 1.7% year-on-year; standard rubber increased by 9.9% year-on-year; latex increased by 6.6% year-on-year; mixed rubber increased by 5.6% year-on-year.

From January to September, the domestic consumption of natural rubber was 903,000 tons, an increase of 90% year-on-year, and 475,000 tons in the same period last year. In terms of specific varieties, the consumption of smoked sheet rubber increased by 70% year-on-year; standard rubber increased by 26% year-on-year; latex increased by 37% year-on-year; mixed rubber increased by a large margin.

In addition, as of September, Thailand's natural rubber inventory was 790,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11%, and a month-on-month increase of 2.1%. Among them, smoked sheet rubber accounted for 8%; standard rubber accounted for 10%; latex accounted for 17%; others accounted for 65%..
